This yarn nearly glows -- it must be seen to be believed. It does not have the springiness of wool, so it drapes a lot, which can be good and bad. I had a lot of trouble with the neckline of a sweater getting stretched way too big. --LisaDusseault 01:36, 23 December 2006 (UTC)

- Sonnet Sweater: Sonnet pattern from Knitty, knit by Lisa Dusseault. Added non-stretchy ribbon sewn around interior of neckline to prevent too much stretching.
- Purple Scarf: My So-called Scarf pattern (by Stacey, knit by Dani Miller, used 3 balls of Kyoto.
- Clara hat: Pattern from "Hip Knits Hats", knit by Allison. She says: "I did knit a gauge swatch in stockinette and based on that, ended up increasing the number of rounds I did. That was a mistake. The lace is way more stretchier than I calculated. [...] It looks super cute and feels so soft."
- Poncho Pattern is Lace panel Cape/Hood by Knitscape for Artfibers, knit by SskeinS using 4.5 balls. "It's super soft and very quick to knit."
- A couple knitters have used Kyoto to make Teva Durham's Corkscrew Scarf from Loop d Loop: Jenny's and Goodkarma's. Goodkarma used 2 skeins and size 10.5US needles. She says: "I followed the pattern as written except for two things: since the yarn I chose knit up at a slightly smaller gauge, I cast on 12 stitches instead of 10 so that it would still be nice and wide and floppy."
